Bryanne Prizeman
Bryanne Prizeman is an Australian children’s author with a big heart for animals, storytelling, and the small moments that make childhood magical. Inspired by everyday adventures and the unconditional joy of dogs, Bryanne writes stories that are playful, comforting, and full of warmth.
Her debut children’s book, Dougie Loves Balls, was inspired by her much-loved dog Dougie, whose enthusiasm for life (and balls of every colour) brings smiles to everyone he meets. Through simple language and cheerful imagery, Bryanne aims to create stories that young children love to hear again and again, while also celebrating patience, kindness, and friendship.
When she’s not writing, Bryanne spends her time caring for animals, dreaming up new stories, and finding inspiration in nature, family life, and the joyful chaos of pets. Her background in pet care has deeply influenced her storytelling, giving her a unique insight into the bond between children and animals.
